the story of Gietijzer
Gietijzer was built as a TV studio: in the early 1990s the Dutch TV series Goudkust was recorded here. After 1992 the building became an event venue, and for years Utrecht knew it as Central Studios. Now it is called Gietijzer.

The high studios are still the heart of the building: Studio 1 as an 11.1 metre high black box, Studio 2 with its own sound and light, and the small hall with stage, bar and dance floor. You are welcome to come and see them, by appointment.
